COMMENTS FROM THE THIRD VICE PRESIDENT

                                               December 2009

Remember NHPA members that January 1, 2010 you need to have your 2010

NHPA Membership Cards and be proud to show them at the tournaments that

you go to especially in January.  Tournament Directors please check for 2010

NHPA cards for all your tournaments.  When you have an out of state player

make sure you see their NHPA card, because that is the only way we can check

if they have updated their membership.  It is only fair to the rest of the Horseshoe

Pitchers in the tournament.  Also when you send me your tournament results let

me know of all the updated 2010 out of state cards, so we can update our Florida

Data Base.

We have something new on all the Florida Club Web Sites and the FSHPA main

web page just click on the yellow banner and the first choice will be - Click to get

latest tournament schedule changes and other important info.

On the Florida Club Web Sites in the center of the first page of each club’s web

site is “Information about important changes in FSHPA tournaments, schedules,

etc. courtesy of Dell Woollard.” Click Here

Inside the “Click Here” is “Check here for the latest Florida World of Horseshoes

News. Just E-mail me with Tournament or Player News that we need to let

Florida Horseshoe Players know. It will be posted here as needed with the date

posted for your information. Thanks, Dell Woollard, E-mail vwoollard@aol.com.

This web site link was created by Marvin Grubb and Jim Smith for me to help get

information to all Florida and out of state pitchers, all at once, regarding the latest

Florida World of Horseshoe News.  All horseshoe pitchers need to do is check

the Information link on any Horseshoe Club’s Web Site weekly or daily regarding

tournament or player news.

Several Horseshoe Clubs have been posting their Tournament Class Schedules

the Thursday or Friday before their tournaments under the Results for that

tournament date.  So when you are in a Tournament see if the Class Schedule is

posted and see what time you are pitching and who you will be pitching with.

That is part of the fun of playing horseshoes is seeing who you will be sharing the

great sport of horseshoes with that day.

Remember to check the web site link and find out the latest Florida World of

Horseshoe News.
