COMMENTS FROM THE THIRD VICE PRESIDENT

 

I would like to thank the Beverly Hills Horseshoe Club for having the 2009 Florida

State Championships Horseshoe Pitching Tournament.  They did an outstanding

 job. 

 

John Peplinski did another excellent job this year setting up and organizing the

Class Schedules for the State Tournament and Ron Deckard spent a lot of time

and talent helping with the computer results of the State Tournament.   They both

spent a lot of time and talent, so we could have a fun time pitching horseshoes. 

 

I would also like to congratulate all the Class Champions and State Champions.

I know they worked hard all year practicing and going to tournaments, so they

would have a chance to win at the State Tournament. 

 

Just a reminder to the Tournament Directors if you would like your Horseshoe

Club’s Tournament Class Schedules put on your clubs web site the Thursday or

Friday before your tournaments just E-mail me your class schedules.  I will be

glad to put them on your Horseshoe Clubs web site.  This way the players can

see what time they are pitching and who is in their class.    

 

Many Horseshoe Clubs are posting the Class Schedules for their tournaments.

So horseshoe pitchers if you would like to see your class schedule for a

tournament that you are entered in just check the Horseshoe Club’s web site

where you are pitching, and the class schedule will be in the results of the

tournament date, if they are one of the clubs that post their class schedules. 

 

I wish everyone a fun summer with family and friends, and lots of ringers for any

horseshoe tournaments you will be pitching in this summer.

                               Comments from the 4th Vice President

 

The By-Laws, with the approved changes included from the Annual Club/Executive

Council meeting, have been incorporated and will be posted on the website for your

 perusal. 

 

I have had one person volunteer to be on the Grievance committee during the time at the

State Tournament. Hooray!! I am still interested in one more for that committee and two

additional volunteers to fill out the By-Laws committee.  Feel free to e-mail me at
