information about the championships is available on a special web site. The site will be active on into the month of
May and may be accessed from the FSHPA web site (www.geocities.com/Colosseum/Dome/9489)
by clicking the labeled button OR from the Brevard County Horseshoe Club web
site (www.geocities.com/bchc1989) .
You
will find information about the selected motel, the site of the banquet, and
much more. A map and directions to all
the points of interest is included. Also
you can print entry forms for all events, read the requirements for each event,
and even sign up to look for a doubles partner.
Places
and times are available about the activities that will be conducted during the
week. However don’t visit the site just once.
Material is frequently updated as changes occur
and new postings may appear at any time.
Especially
note the Sponsors’ advertisements on the right hand side of the page. These are the businesses and people that
support the championships. Many also
offer discount coupons that may be printed for use while attending the
championships.
A
NEW PAMPHLET IS NOW AVAILABLE TO ALL CLUBS
Through
the cooperative efforts of several members a new pamphlet entitled JUNIOR HORSESHOE PITCHING and SCHOLARSHIP
PROGRAMS has been prepared. It
describes the various activities and programs that a junior might avail
themselves of in the FSHPA. The intent
is that clubs may use this pamphlet to hand out to juniors and parents of
juniors to acquaint them with our programs and encourage their participation.
Any
club that would like a sample copy of this pamphlet should request same from
the Promotional Chairman, Jim Smith.
