                                                               Special Meeting

                                                               Executive Council

                                                               December 9, 2006

                                                                Orlando, Florida

Topic: Tournament possibility at Old Town in conjunction with Fast Sports.

Called to order at 9:00 A.M. by president Hilpertshauser. Bob informed the council that

tournament entry fees would make up the prize fund. The council was previously under the

impression that there would be added sponsor money towards the prize fund. Bob asked for each members input and all felt that this would not be feasible without the additional money. Ron Deckard explained that the NHPA portable courts are available. Cost involved would be shipping, clay and maintenance.

Bob Ellis representing Fast Sports was then invited in and Bob Hilpertshauser explained the council’s feelings. Bob Ellis apologized and said he was not trying to mislead the council. He asked if the council could present a format for this tournament with a smaller amount of sponsor money. Not the $45.000 anticipated previously.

Byron Jarrett requested Marvin Grubb to submit a format. The council will then decide if it wants to pursue the issue.

Motion by Woollard seconded by Deckard to adjourn. 10:30 A.M.

All members present.
