Thursday night dinner party:

April 23^rd at the conclusion of Thursday night pitching, the Beverly Hills Horseshoe Club will serve pulled pork sandwiches, coleslaw and pot luck at the courts. The State Association will provide the beverages for 2 hours.

Friday night hospitality cocktail party:

April 24^th the Friday night hospitality party will take place at pool side of the Bella Oasis Hotel & Spa from 6:30 to 8:30. The State Association will provide the drinks, Ordure’s will be provided by the Beverly Hills Horseshoe Club.

Awards Banquet:

The annual awards banquet will be held at the Beverly Hills Recreation Center. The Center is located directly across the circle from the horseshoe courts. Cocktails will be available, reasonably priced, starting at 6:30 pm and continue throughout the evening. Tickets for cocktails must be purchased at the horseshoe club prior to the banquet. No money can be used to purchase drinks at the Center. The banquet dinner will start at 7:30 pm. Ferrara’s of Beverly Hills will cater the dinner. The cost per ticket is $20.00. Attend the banquet and honor those that have earned awards either through their pitching or dedication to the association and the game of horseshoes.

The dinner entrée options are:

Roast Beef or Chicken Marsala, includes fruit cup, salad, vegetable, dessert, coffee and tea.

Bella Oasis Hotel & Spa is the hotel of choice for the State Closed Tournament. The hotel has agreed to a rate of $60.00 plus tax per night. You must make your reservations by no later than April 8, 2009 and state that you are with the Florida State Horseshoe Pitchers Association.

Directions from the Hotel to the courts: There are 2 routes to choose from.

1^st and shortest is to take a right at the 2^nd stop light (CR-490) take it to Gulf to Lake Hwy (SR-44) and turn right. Then turn left (North) on Lecanto Blvd (CR-491) to Beverly Hills Blvd (right to the courts)

2^nd way is to take the 1^st stop light ( W. Grover Cleveland Blvd ) all the way to Lecanto Hwy (CR-491) then turn left (North) to Beverly Hills Blvd. and to the courts. This route is about 2 miles longer than the 1^st.
