We have formed a new National Horseshoe and Florida Horseshoe Pitching Club at On Top Of The World community in Ocala Fl. We now have twelve NHPA members and are looking to sign up ten more before our first tournament.

We now have nine fenced in courts with full concrete walkways. The nine courts at this time are sand.

We have nice clean Ladies and Mens restrooms that are located right next to the courts.

We will have three sanction tournaments, and can handle 42 pitchers. The dates we applied for our first tournaments are October 26, 2007, January 18, 2008 and February 22, 2008. All tournaments will start at 9:00AM. Second session will start at 1:00PM. As for now the entrée fee will be $20.00 with a pay back of $50.00, $30.00 and $20.00 for seven-person class.

Officers of our club are Ed Lalonde President/Treasure, Lois Tatonetti Secretary and Michael Tatonetti Tournament Director. We hope to see many of you at our tournaments.

Our courts are located in Ocala Fl. From the south take I-75 north to exit 341 to route CR484. Turn left onto CR484 and go west to route 200. Turn right onto route 200 and go approx 3 miles. The entrance to On Top Of The World is on your left. From the north take I-75 south to exit 350 to route 200. Turn right onto route 200 and go approx 7 miles. The entrance to Top Of The World will be on the right.

IN MEMORIAM

MO DUNCAN

Mo Duncan passed away Tuesday June 5 at his son's home in Indiana. Mo had bone cancer and left Florida.3 months ago. Mo turned 81 last January. His Daughter in law said that Mo will be buried with his Bradenton Horseshoe Club shirt. The club is sending a $25 donation to the Jr scholarship fund in his memory. We all know Mo's contribution to our club and he will be missed. Cards may be sent to:
