COMMENTS FROM PAST-PRESIDENT
Mr. Hilpertshauser, President of
the FSHPA, in his ultimate wisdom offered
me the position of
Past President on the Executive Council.
He did not discuss
salary or benefits, but I accepted the position regardless
of his oversight.
One of the duties of this office is the responsibility of
appointing an Election
Committee,
consisting of three individuals. The duties of this ommittee are
two-fold:
1.) Seek out possible candidates for those positions on
the Executive Council
that
are up for re-election.
2.) Oversee the election process during the state
tournament including
staffing the
election booth during the hours of singles play on Friday &
Saturday.
Anyone interested in filling these positions on the
Election Committee should
contact me as soon as possible. This is a chance for those members who have
benefited from the work of a few to give a little something
back to the Association in
terms of service.
Club Presidents, please ask your
members if any of them might be interested
in these positions.
Salary and benefits will be discussed when the positions are
filled.
